Day 11- Monday

Washed hair, everything feels pretty much as normal as it will do now for a few more days until the staples come out. The little bit of redness that I had after the SMP has faded and I was able to admire just how much fuller it looks in the crown there is a noticeable difference between the front where the new grafts were placed and the back where the SMP has been done.

Day 12 – Tuesday

All as expected my neck is feeling less tight day by day and the recipient area has really healed well now and doesn’t look red. Most of the newly transplanted hairs are still in place apart from some that were lost in the clean up of the area. So today it was time to SMP the scars. I have two original donor scars left from my old hair transplant surgeries in the UK that are quite wide, the lowest one was done on Sunday and it did hurt like hell the higher one that runs through my latest scar by Dr Hasson was covered today and Carmen did a great job with this, the pain was nothing compared to the lower scar which is nearly on my neck. Carmen also added some more density into the crown by giving it a second pass in some places. The result looked great and we took some photos to show.

Day 13- Wednesday

My flight home to the UK. Things are healing up nicely and the recipient looks decent, my short haircut is showing the scar and staples a little but incredibly my old donor scars where the work was SMP was done are hidden at this short length. I like to new short look and hairline and look forward to when it grows in. There is a distinctive difference between where the SMP was done and the frontal area which wasn’t done. The flight was uneventful I even took off my hat for part of the journey as the cabin lights were low.

Day 14- Thursday

By the time I got home it was early morning UK time. Pretty tired a had a couple of hours sleep in the afternoon. I am going to have the staples removed tomorrow when I am feeling less tired.
